Game interface features sometimes lead to unintended spending.
The authors of Diablo 4 are preparing for the imminent release of update 2.4.3. Blizzard Entertainment traditionally publishes a full description of the upcoming patch in advance. It includes various technical fixes, and should also eliminate situations where players unintentionally spend in-app currency.
Previously, members of the Diablo 4 community complained that they accidentally use "Platinum" when trying to get rewards in battle pass reliquaries - this will be fixed:
Changed the purchase confirmation commands in the battle pass reliquaries to improve the convenience and speed of receiving rewards using approval tokens. The button used to receive rewards is now used to exchange approval tokens for rewards. This change is intended to make receiving rewards more convenient and prevent conditions from arising in which players accidentally spent platinum to receive rewards.
The conditions for obtaining the "First Aid" achievement will be changed. The progress of the achievement will not be reset if the player has already received it.
· Previously: fully upgrade a health potion.
· Now: use a health potion 1000 times.
Bug fixes
· Fixed an issue where battle pass tokens were not being spent properly if a player had multiple unused premium battle pass tokens from past seasons.
· Fixed an issue where chaos rifts sometimes did not open chaos portals during Helltide.
· Fixed an issue where enemies emerging from chaos rifts could appear outside of designated boundaries.
· Fixed an issue where the secret quest to seal chaos rifts could be given in the eternal game world.
· Fixed an issue where enemies could appear inside the walls of nightmare dungeons.
· Various improvements have been made to improve performance, stability, and graphics quality.
The release of update 2.4.3 for Diablo 4 is expected on November 4, 2025.
