While waiting for Larian's new project, some are expanding the gaming experience in BG3.
Recently, modder Soft_Stage_446 reminded about a custom campaign. An additional act is in development for the project «A Dream of Silence ReVamped - Act 1 - Custom Campaign Story Mod».
In this campaign, players are invited to immerse themselves in the world of nightmares:
A monster has latched onto your companions. It creates nightmares from their worst memories and feeds on their pain. One of your companions has a particularly bad memory. But you can intervene. You are the only thread of contact in a dream where despair means being devoured. A game about solitary confinement and hope
Innovations in ADOS ReVamped Act 2:
- Collaboration with both Astarion and someone else, depending on the player's preferences
- Loot and weapons, including mystical items that may be useful in the third act
- The ability to plan your own escape
- A changing and more interactive environment in the tomb
- Meeting one character — characters are not alone in the mansion
The second act is expected to offer an additional 1-2 hours of gameplay to ADOS. Beta testing is scheduled for December.
