The game's problematic launch is accompanied by a stream of negative reviews on Steam.
The full release of Escape from Tarkov 1.0 did not go very smoothly. There are problems both at the stage of entering the game and in the gameplay.
The head of Battlestate Games commented on the problematic launch of EFT:
...we are fighting for backend [server] stability - you are all [trying to get in] and our login servers and website are unexpectedly overloading quickly (although we added a lot of extra servers). Game servers are fine. We are improving the current situation every minute. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it seems to be part of the "Tarkov" launch day experience. We won't rest until we stabilize everything.
The load on the site has increased 10 times, and on the launcher and authentication center — 4 times.
He also drew attention to the fact that EFT attracted the attention of viewers on Twitch and talked about the number of players:
"mostly negative" [reviews] and top 1 on Twitch and only 300 thousand online at the moment (40 thousand on Steam). We are preparing more fixes and working on the servers.
Nikita Buyanov reacted to the expression that spread in the community (some players had problems launching Escape from Tarkov):
Someone said that if you want to escape from Tarkov, you first need to get into Tarkov. Have you already gotten in?
