The shooter's developers promised open playlists and beta experience.
Many famous streamers and esports athletes claim that Activision lied about SBMM in Black Ops 7. Initially, fans of the new Call of Duty were promised two types of playlists: one with a standard matchmaking system that takes into account many parameters to form a lobby (player level, ping, win/loss ratio), and a classic one, which is mainly guided by ping and was in the beta.
According to professionals, the classic system is either not there or it simply does not work. Swagg, Colt, Xclusive Ace, and JoeWo say that they regularly end up in brutal lobbies, even though they should at least sometimes be thrown into the company of newbies.
Some also suggest that the game simply cannot assemble more relaxed lobbies because newcomers, after experiencing the bitterness of defeat several times in a row, return to the classic SBMM, where they have at least some chance.
