HoYoverse Presents Ananta's Answer. Watch 30 Minutes of Gameplay of the Mystical Open-World Action Game Varsapura in GTA Style
HoYoverse is not slowing down and is showing a new ambitious project on Unreal Engine 5.
HoYoverse has presented a 30-minute gameplay demonstration of Varsapura, the studio's new large-scale project being created on Unreal Engine 5. The video introduces viewers to the SEAL (Shadow Emergency Alliance) organization, its dark corridors, and the first training session, which takes place simultaneously in reality and in the shadow dimension.
The video shows an early stage of the game: the protagonist named Hollowone undergoes a test, using a combat umbrella — a weapon capable of not only reflecting attacks and darting, but also holding the heroine in the air, allowing her to float. Elements of stealth, parrying, finishing moves, dynamic combos with switching between characters, and exploration episodes, including city trips by car, are also demonstrated.
Varsapura combines HoYoverse's signature anime aesthetic with a GTA-style open world, realistic scenery, and a mystical thriller atmosphere in the spirit of Control.
HoYoverse has not yet revealed the platforms and release date. The presentation ended with an announcement of recruitment to the company's offices in Shanghai and Singapore, indicating an early stage of project development. However, considering that all current HoYoverse games are released on PC, mobile devices, and consoles, it can be expected that Varsapura will also become a multi-platform release.
