Developers have removed the ability to aim down sights while jumping.
The latest update for Battlefield 6 has removed the ability to aim down sights while jumping, and canceling slides significantly reduces speed and momentum.
As a result, overall mobility and aggressive playstyles have become noticeably slower, which is especially noticeable in close combat and during quick rotations.
Some streamers and professional players (especially those who came to Battlefield 6 from Call of Duty) have already reacted extremely negatively. Jokes are circulating in chats and on streams that after the patch, the game has become a "camper simulator for battledads".
Previously, Battlefield 6 received a winter-themed update called Winter Offensive, which added a snowy version of the "Empire State" map, a freezing mechanic, and a temporary battle pass with 11 levels (available until December 29).
