The developers are pleased with the audience response on Nintendo Switch and see this as an incentive to move forward.
Recently, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, which Aspyr developed in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, was unexpectedly released on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. After that, fans began to actively inquire about the possibility of releasing other games from the Tomb Raider Survivor trilogy — Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider — on Nintendo platforms.
In an interview with Nintendo Everything, Aspyr's product manager, Jordan Riss, commented on the situation, noting that the studio sees audience interest and perceives "enthusiastic player feedback" as an incentive to "explore further opportunities." At the same time, he stressed that the company is not ready to make any official announcements at the moment.
According to Riss, Aspyr's priority in the near future remains supporting Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and releasing updates aimed at improving the quality of the version for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
