PlayStation and Xbox will get the same hardcore version that people play on PC.
In a recent interview, Battlestate Games studio head Nikita Buyanov spoke about plans to bring the shooter Escape from Tarkov to PlayStation and Xbox consoles. According to him, the console version will not be a "light" version — the developers intend to keep the same complex and ruthless game that PC users are used to.
I'm not sure if it will be a lighter version of EFT. The main goal is to create the same experience on consoles, so there will be no aim assist and no simplification of game mechanics. I really want to bring the same ruthless experience to consoles in order to convey this hardcore feeling to a wider audience.
Jokingly, the head of the studio noted that his mission is to make players break gamepads out of anger and tension.
