Developers of the "Korea. IL-2 Series" air simulator showed the interface during the flight and talked about improvements

1C Game Studios continues to talk about "Korea. IL-2 Series". Recently, the developers decided to present the graphical user interface (HUD) directly during the flight.
This part uses a new approach - they decided to show the user much more detailed information about his aircraft:
In addition to the main flight parameters (heading, altitude, speed, Mach number, G-force, vertical speed), the main engine parameters (RPM, boost, temperature), the position of all main controls, the state of the mechanization (landing gear, flaps, brakes) and the remaining weapons and fuel will be available.
However, the developers also provided shortened versions of the HUD, when "only the most necessary is displayed, and the player reads the remaining parameters from the instruments of the three-dimensional cockpit".
The developers of "Korea. IL-2 Series" plan to make the entire range of interface elements customizable - players will be able to choose interface elements to display (what to show and what not, and where).
In addition to the HUD indicators, "Korea. IL-2 Series" added a separate screen displaying the status of all aircraft systems, including the degree of damage:
This screen allows the player to assess in a clear and convenient form what is happening to his aircraft at the moment. It provides comprehensive explanations of what the combat damage to the aircraft has led to in terms of the operation of its equipment and systems. Also, with the help of this dialog, you can quickly get an idea of what systems are in the aircraft in principle and where they are located: this will allow you to quickly adapt to the new machine, more fully study its device, better feel and understand it.
They also showed aircraft control using the "circular menu":
Since each item is revealed in others, it will be possible to control all aircraft systems in the most realistic game mode, without memorizing the purpose of the keyboard keys or joystick buttons. Moreover, the hints in this menu will always remind the player which combination of keys or axes is assigned to a particular aircraft control command.
