Embark Quickly Released a Hotfix for ARC Raiders, Fixing a Bug That Allowed Item Duplication

Previously, the developers promised to punish those who exploited the bug.

Just over three hours after the release of ARC Raiders patch version 1.15.0, Embark Studios quickly released a hotfix addressing the current issue of item duplication.

Embark's community lead, known as Ossen, stated in Discord that the team is actively monitoring the situation to ensure the bug is fixed in all possible scenarios. Players are asked to report any new cases of duplication through the bug report channel. No additional update is required.

Embark also noted that they are still investigating the full extent of the issue and will take action depending on the severity of the violations found. The developers thanked players for reporting the bug and for their patience.

The studio separately hinted at possible consequences for those who deliberately used the exploit. According to Embark, players who duplicated an excessive number of items may be subject to additional scrutiny and receive penalties. The developers emphasized that "loot earned honestly is always more valuable".
