Embark Studios has announced the completion of its investigation into a series of item duplication bugs in ARC Raiders and has announced the imposition of penalties for players who exploited the glitch.

Previously, vulnerabilities were discovered in the game that allowed valuable items to be copied, thereby quickly accumulating a large amount of resources. According to the developers, despite the fact that the problem arose due to a miscalculation in the design, its widespread use significantly affected the in-game economy and the experience of other users.

During the week, the studio will begin to apply sanctions to accounts whose involvement in abuses is confirmed. Depending on the severity of the violations, different measures are provided:

• warnings in cases of minor use of the bug
• removal of in-game currency obtained through the exploit
