An Arc Raiders player mounted the new "Firefly" and paid the price - he was sent into the "backrooms" of the Buried City

A time-tested trick can sometimes work out differently than expected.

Arc Raiders recently received the Shrouded Sky update, which added a pair of new robots to the game.

Some players decided to use a trick many had already grown used to — mount the robot and hit it with an axe / shoot off its fans.

As it turned out, the Arcs have "evolved," and the new "Firefly" is capable of punishing riders for such antics.

A player going by the nickname Yeetuus-Deeleetuus showed how an attempt to ride a "Firefly" on the "Buried City" map ended badly for him. He started shooting off its fans, and as a result the robot threw him into the textures — the rider ended up trapped inside a building.
