Industria 2, a Half-Life-esque shooter, has been released on PC
This time, the creators finally managed to successfully bring the project to release.
At the end of April, Industria 2 was released on PC via Steam. Initially, the release was scheduled for the 15th, but at the last moment, plans changed. Some players were drawn to the visuals — in places, it evokes the spirit of the Half-Life franchise.
As the developers explained then:
It turned out that finishing a high-quality shooter with a team of 8 people is not easy. We tried to punch above our weight.
The shooter Industria 2 tells the story of a woman trapped in a parallel universe, trying to find her way home. The heroine must fight her way through a world captured by "insatiable artificial intelligence" and gather resources:
Several years after the events of the first INDUSTRIA game, Nora tries to return home from a parallel universe. The abandoned house becomes the only island of calm in a hostile world deserted by people, where she survives in complete solitude and builds a machine that will allow her to return to East Berlin in 1989.
The developers stated that the approximate playtime for the shooter is 5 to 7 hours. Players will have access to 20 levels, 9 different enemy types (including 2 bosses), 6 types of weapons and various upgrades, as well as tools and other items.
The Industria 2 trailer is available at the following link. A demo version is available on Steam.
