Exams to appear in the flight simulator "Korea. Il-2 Game Series"

The developers will prepare additional challenges to test the skills of virtual pilots.

1C Game Studios continues to talk about "Korea. Il-2 Game Series". Recently, the developers presented a diary dedicated to the creation of the training system.

They decided to supplement the player's training approach by adding a missing intermediate stage. For each aircraft, the authors of "Korea. Il-2 Game Series" have prepared four special exam missions, passing which players will face their first significant challenge to their skills:

The first mission challenges the player to perform a takeoff, high-speed low-altitude flight along a route, and landing under time constraints. Here, the player tests their piloting skills, and if something doesn't work out, by repeating attempts, they improve their aircraft handling and control of its main equipment. Having succeeded, they will definitely be ready to perform all the basic elements related to piloting, takeoff, and landing.

In the second mission, the player will have to attack ground targets, and the conditions here are more complex compared to ordinary tasks from the "Mission Planner". In the third mission, one must fight an aerial enemy. The piloting characteristics of aircraft vary greatly, and the aiming equipment and cockpit view also differ radically.

The fourth exam will be "Combat Mission" — the player will be offered a full-scale combat mission most specific to this aircraft model, "generally corresponding to what they will have to do at the front":

For Il-10, this will be an assault mission to prevent the actions of an enemy armored group. For F-51D — intercepting a group of Il-10 attack aircraft to cover their ground troops. For Yak-9 — direct cover for a group of Il-10s attacking enemy positions.
