Former MVD Employee Develops Diabloid in West Slavic Fantasy Setting

The project has attracted "diverse" developers, including those who participated in the creation of Diablo IV.

Former MVD employee Kirill Kalgashkin spoke about the development of a diabloid (Action/RPG Hack & Slash) called Devil Gate. In an interview with VK Play, he shared that a team of more than 50 people is currently working on the project:

We all agreed on one thing: we all want to create something cool. The team is quite diverse — half of the people have no commercial experience, often either worked in small indies or only completed training. The other half has a fairly significant background.

Kirill himself previously participated in the design development of Miscreated by Entrada Interactive. The team also includes specialists who have worked on Fortnite, Diablo IV, and Last Epoch.

The creators of Devil Gate will offer players to immerse themselves in a dark world of West Slavic fantasy, where darkness and cruelty lurk around every corner — you can play the game alone or in co-op with friends:
