You can play Paradox's grand strategy game and a robot battle auto-battler for free on Steam
The developers of Hearts of Iron IV and Mechabellum have decided to expand their projects' audience on Steam.
In June, Game River and Dreamhaven launched a new promotion. Steam users are invited to get acquainted with Mechabellum for free.
This is an auto-battler where players can take on the role of a warlord and assemble an army of combat robots:
You have at your disposal both light mechs and huge titans. Customize different units, plan formations, deploy troops. Then destroy enemies in detailed 3D battles. Analyze the constantly changing battlefield, try to predict enemy actions, launch counterattacks, and follow the plan. The smartest, not the strongest, will win.
The Mechabellum page on Steam is available at the following link. The promotion will last until June 15, 20:00 Moscow time. Discounts on the game and additional content are valid until the 25th.
Paradox Interactive is also participating in the "free weekend" promotion. Players can play Hearts of Iron IV on Steam.
This grand strategy game is set during World War II. Players are invited to lead one of the countries and develop it:
This is not just a "historical simulator." Almost every decision you make changes the course of history. Their scale can vary: which place to attack to defeat "Fortress Europe," establish democracy, or restore power to long-forgotten monarchical families.
The free access promotion for Hearts of Iron IV on Steam will last until June 15, 20:00 MSK. Currently, discounts are available on the main game and some add-ons.
