"We're tired of the agenda in games": Halo composer goes into politics
The composer of music for Halo and Destiny, who for many years headed Bungie's audio department, has traded the studio for an election campaign and is calling on gamers to vote for a candidate who \"plays games himself.\"
Halo and Destiny series composer Martin O'Donnell is running for the U.S. Congress and promises to speak out against the agenda in video games under the slogan "Make Halo Great Again."
O'Donnell led Bungie's audio department for many years, and in 2014 he left the studio to found his own company, Highwire Games. Now he has entered politics, continuing to appeal to the gaming audience.
Gamers are frustrated with what's happening to their favorite games. That's why we have the slogan "Make Halo Great Again." (...) We're tired of the agenda. It's also the culmination of people being tired of being insulted. (...) We are here together and we can become a real political movement. I'm running for Congress, so you have a candidate who plays games himself and writes music for them.

In a separate post, he added that gamers are tired of the left-wing political agenda in games, movies, and comics. The composer also called for unity to "take back our games and our country."
