The Wolf Among Us to Receive Remaster in October with Cut Scenes and Noir Mode

The remaster of Telltale's cult adventure will feature updated graphics and a noir mode.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered will be released on October 29, 2026, with updated graphics, improved sound, a noir mode, and five playable scenes cut from the original.

The remaster will retain the plot and direction of the original game, focusing on technical improvements, bug fixes, and previously unreleased materials.

The developers have reworked character models, textures, and environments, updated animations, remastered the soundtrack, and improved dialogue sound. Special attention was paid to the Woodlands complex, whose interiors received Victorian decor, contrasting with the dirty alleys of 1980s New York.

In noir mode, the investigation can be played in black and white with deep shadows and high-contrast visuals. If desired, players can return to the original neon colors.

The main gift for fans will be five full-fledged playable scenes cut from the original. Among them is an alternative ending to the Anderson Street episode, in which Bigby will have to hide traces from the arriving police. The edition will also include over an hour of video about the making of the game, featuring voice actors, artists, and DC representatives.
