Players believe they have found the prototype for the girl on the GTA VI cover

Recently, Rockstar Games announced the imminent start of pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI, and also published a new teaser and the game's cover. It is made in the traditional style for the franchise: there is a helicopter, the main characters are depicted, and there is also a girl.

Some fans recalled the case with GTA V — back then, actress Lindsay Lohan tried to sue the developers, as she believed they “used her image to create one of the game's characters” — and so they went looking for a possible “prototype” for the new heroine.

Soon, as some users believe, they managed to find the very girl from the GTA VI cover. It is assumed that this is model and DJ Gabriela Chiquin. There is a certain resemblance: she is also in a green top and has afro curls.

The viral photo of the girl dates back to 2024, meaning it appeared several years before the cover was published. Gabriela also edited the caption and added, “They say I look like the brunette from GTA VI.”

For now, everything is at the level of player speculation, and there is no official confirmation of collaboration with Rockstar yet. There is an opinion that fans are simply “overthinking” due to a fortunate coincidence of the image.

The release of Grand Theft Auto VI on consoles is expected in November 2026. The developers have not yet announced the release date for the PC version.
