Insider Reveals Assassin's Creed Hexe Details: Release, Price, and Key Changes

Insider RogueTX reported that Assassin's Creed Hexe will be released in June 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC without magic, in three editions, and with an updated fear system.

A portion of details about Assassin's Creed Hexe has been leaked online. The information was shared by insider RogueTX, who has long covered Assassin's Creed projects and regularly publishes reliable information about Ubisoft games.

According to the leak, Assassin's Creed Hexe will be released in June 2027, although the source noted that this date might be internal and temporary. The game is being developed for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and will receive a PEGI 18 rating. The PC version will be protected by Denuvo. Three editions are also mentioned: Standard for $69.99, Deluxe for $89.99, and Collector's Edition for $119.99.

According to the insider, Ubisoft has completely abandoned magic. The map will be large and noticeably more linear than in recent installments of the series. The world will be divided into three large regions with dense forests, villages, small towns, and rivers.

The modified fear system from the Jack the Ripper DLC for Assassin's Creed Syndicate will return to the game. The main character, Anika, will be able to sow panic among enemies, forcing them to flee, abandon positions, and make more mistakes in combat. Civilians will become much more suspicious of strangers, so stealth will become more important.

It is also reported that there will be a significant improvement in graphics and a darker atmosphere compared to Assassin's Creed Shadows. Ubisoft will rework the sound system: sounds behind walls will be muffled, making it more difficult and realistic to pinpoint enemy locations.
