It is likely that the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ portable device will get a version with an Arc G3 chip and an Arc B370 GPU, as well as 512 GB of internal memory. It will cost $300 less than the flagship model.

Thanks to the ExcaliberPC portal, users learned about the existence of a more affordable version of the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ portable device. The developers themselves have not yet posted official information about this model on their website, so the finding should be treated as a rumor for now.

The new version will feature an Arc G3 chip and an Arc B370 GPU instead of the Intel Arc G3 Extreme chip and Intel Arc B390 GPU. It will come in a Luminous Blue color.

Storage will be reduced from 1 TB to 512 GB, and the price will drop to $1499 (129,720 rubles), which is $300 cheaper than the flagship model (which costs 155,681 rubles).

Although there are no images on the website, the model number is listed as Claw 8 EX AI+ CG3M-072USY. Except for the storage capacity, the rest of the configuration remains the same as the Extreme version.

Simply put, the device has an 8-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 283.02 ppi, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, a Cooler Boost HyperFlow cooling system, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card slot, Windows 11 OS, and an 80 Wh battery.

According to the announcement, this model will go on sale on October 30, but pre-orders are already available.
