Improved Bloodborne Remaster with Enhanced Graphics and Reflections Released on PC
The unofficial PC version of Bloodborne continues to be improved.
Recently, a modder under the nickname fromsoftserve released a new version of their unofficial Bloodborne remaster mod for PC. Update 1.06 and the subsequent 1.07 include various graphical improvements.
The enthusiast improved a number of locations, such as: Hunter's Dream, Cathedral Ward, Central and Old Yharnam, as well as Hemwick (Hemwick Charnel Lane). In addition, high-resolution reflection maps were added to the project, and fromsoftserve fixed various bugs.
The modder published an overview video dedicated to patches 1.06 and 1.07:
The "BB PC Remaster" modification by fromsoftserve is distributed for free via Nexus Mods. It adds dynamic shadows for all objects in the game; increases the shadow draw distance. Parallax occlusion has been added for many surfaces. In addition, new point light sources have been added for many light sources that previously did not illuminate anything (e.g., candles and lamps).
Bloodborne is launched on PC using the ShadPS4 emulator; a "native port" also recently appeared.
