Sony failed, but fans themselves released the PS-exclusive Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection trilogy on PC

News

Now PC players can find out what happened before Uncharted 4.

A few years ago, Sony released Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on PC. This collection included Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, as well as Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

At the time, many players were puzzled: three parts of the franchise — Uncharted, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception remained PlayStation exclusives. Meanwhile, Sony itself had previously released the “Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection” on consoles, which included all these games.

An official PC release of this collection never materialized, but recently, an enthusiast under the nickname Supermedo ported it to PC. Thanks to his project, games from the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection can now be played on Windows PCs.

The unofficial version of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection supports “60 FPS like on PlayStation 4,” as well as 120 FPS and more. It features anti-aliasing and other technologies: TAA, AMD FSR 3.1, AMD FSR 4, NVIDIA DLSS (DLAA), as well as AMD and NVIDIA frame generation. The game can be played with a keyboard and mouse.

Supermedo published the source code for the “uncharted_pc” project on GitHub. As usual, players will need to provide the game files to run it (they were not included in the archive due to copyright).
