This was stated by Tymon Smektała, who worked at Techland for 13 years on the Dying Light series, and in 2026 became the head of Broken Mirror Games. According to him, the greatest achievement will be discovering an author of a small project with an unusual vision. The studio will provide them with the necessary tools and Bloober Team's experience in creating horror games.

Smektała is not looking for a big name, but for fresh ideas. Among his sources of inspiration, he highlights the films "Whiplash," "Behind the Reality," and "Tools." Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno added that the best horror films don't just scare, but reflect society's fears.

Broken Mirror Games is already working on several projects, including Onyx: The Dark Grip for Nintendo Switch 2 and Saw: Genesis. Meanwhile, the search for new authors continues. Smektała admits that finding the next Hideo Kojima is an ambitious but entirely realistic goal.
