The creators of War Thunder have released a new development diary. It is dedicated to a couple of updated locations.
Gaijin said that the designers sought to refresh the appearance of «Eastern Europe», make it more detailed, natural and lively:
«The combat zone and its surroundings have acquired a more pronounced autumn mood, trees and vegetation have been reworked — coniferous species with high crowns, more typical for Eastern Europe, have appeared, forests and groves have become more transparent».
The architecture has also been reworked, the buildings and bridges have been improved. Detailing has been increased in and outside the city: many small objects and fences have been added.
Eastern Europe
On the «Poland» map, all buildings and structures were reworked, small destructible objects appeared — window sashes, drainpipes and flower beds, railings and fences.
Outside the city, the vegetation was reworked, «disproportionately large bushes that hid the dimensions of the tanks» were removed, and completely new grass appeared. In addition, the rocks and stones were reworked.
