The creators of War Thunder have released a new development diary. It is dedicated to a couple of updated locations.
Gaijin said that the designers sought to refresh the appearance of "Eastern Europe", making it more detailed, natural and lively:
«The combat zone and its surroundings have acquired a more pronounced autumn mood, trees and vegetation have been reworked — coniferous species with high crowns, more characteristic of Eastern Europe, have appeared, and forests and groves have become more transparent».
The architecture has also been reworked, buildings and bridges have been improved. Detailing has been increased in and outside the city: many small objects and fences have been added.
Eastern Europe
On the "Poland" map, all buildings and structures have been reworked, small destructible objects have appeared — window frame sashes, drainpipes and flower beds, railings and fences.
Outside the city, the vegetation has been reworked, "disproportionately large bushes that hid the dimensions of tanks" have been removed, and completely new grass has appeared. In addition, the rocks and stones have been reworked.
