Destiny Rising became the first mobile game in the Destiny franchise and showed a strong start after the first week.
Destiny Rising was released on iOS and Android on August 28. At first glance, the start may seem modest, but there is a nuance. According to Appmagic analysts, published by Mobilegamer.biz, in the first week the project brought in about $1.6 million in in-game purchases and collected 1 million installations.
At the same time, the statistics do not take into account China, a key market for the publisher NetEase. Excluding China, the United States became the leader in downloads and revenue: they accounted for 56% of installations and 75% of total revenue.
The game offers an alternative chronology of the Bungie universe: the events unfold before the original parts of Destiny. Users have access to single missions, cooperative PvE raids for six people, and classic PvP modes.
Destiny Rising is available on Google Play and the App Store in the Russian region, but there is no localization in Russian yet.
