A detailed comparison of Battlefield 6 on PS5, PS5 Pro, and PC has emerged, and the results are impressive. The new EA shooter demonstrates excellent optimization and stable performance across all platforms.
The main focus of the analysis was on the story mode, whose indicators almost coincide with the results of the beta version. The PS5 Pro shows improved shadows, volumetric lighting, and environmental detail, but the differences with the base PS5 are small — both consoles show a similar level of quality.
In performance mode, both versions reduce the quality of shadows, terrain, and post-processing for the sake of stable frames. At the same time, the PS5 Pro maintains an advantage — up to 20 fps higher in certain scenes, although in cutscenes both consoles operate at a stable 60 fps.
Comparison with the PC version showed the same high level of optimization. Even on the RTX 3050, the game runs stably at 1080p with high settings. The difference between low and high presets is not so noticeable, which emphasizes the efficiency of the engine.
The PS5 Pro settings roughly correspond to the medium-high level of the PC, but DLSS and FSR on the computer provide better image clarity. Overall, Battlefield 6 maintains a high visual standard with minimal difference between platforms.
Earlier tests of the final version also confirmed almost complete equality between PS5 and Xbox Series X, with a slight advantage for the Sony console. The PS5 Pro version shows the best result among all.
