Thanks to the cooperative puzzle board game Yami, players from Russia will also be able to save the Kakapo kingdom from darkness and destructive vines, unite with forest spirits, and complete many missions.
Crowd Games Publishing has announced that it will release Yami in Russian – a cooperative puzzle board game by a team of Japanese and French authors (and Musoka Studio).
In this project, designed for 2-4 people, gamers will have to travel to the Kakapo kingdom, where the lands are shrouded in mysterious vines and thick fog, and then unite with forest spirits to drive away the darkness.
Games in Yami are dynamic and combine the mechanics of polyomino and trick-taking. Each mission, and there are 22 of them in total, differs in preparation, victory conditions, and rewards (sometimes hidden). In each mission, gamers need to surround the terrain tokens on the field with spirit tokens, which are placed using a joint card play.
People will be free to choose missions on the kingdom map, win or lose, and track their progress on the moon track. This tracker reminds you of the restrictions in effect during a particular phase. For example, sometimes you can place spirits of the same color next to each other, or with the onset of night you will have to play with the reverse, more difficult, side of the spirits.
Unfortunately, it is not yet known exactly when Crowd Games will release Yami.
