Not all of Naughty Dog's ideas made it to the release version.
Recently, fans drew attention to a video by Thekempy YouTube channel author. He presented an early version of Uncharted Drake's Fortune.
He was able to access the build, which dates back to May 2007 — six months before the release of the first Uncharted, and made a comparison
In this version, the characters have a different appearance: Nate had a pendant instead of Francis Drake's ring, and Elena had brown hair — by the release she became a "blonde girl".

There was a running mechanic, which was eventually abandoned: players could hold down the "circle" to make Nate run. There was also a "stamina" system associated with it, but its supply was restored almost instantly.
At a certain stage, it was assumed that spiders would become enemies, but everything remained at an "early stage".
