The popular mobile arcade is back after nine years with a full-fledged multiplayer mode.
Finnish studio Fingersoft has released Hill Climb Racing 3, the new installment in the popular arcade series that has been around for over 13 years.
The game is currently available in a "soft launch" format on Android in Finland, Norway, Sweden, and the UK. Later, the project will reach other regions and devices, including iOS.
The mechanics remain familiar, but the main feature of the triquel is the appearance of races with other players in real time, and not just with the "ghosts" of opponents.
Players have access to new gadgets and boosters that help both in attack and defense. At the same time, Fingersoft has retained its signature visual style and physical model, adding advanced car customization — you can change the appearance, improve performance, and assemble your own setups for different types of races.
Familiar characters have also returned — Bill Newton, Nikita, Rick Ace and other heroes of Climb Canyon. Each has its own characteristics and bonuses that affect driving style. The developers promise regular updates with new tracks, events and cosmetics.
When the full release and the game's release on iOS will take place is not yet reported.
