The launch on Sony's console didn't go smoothly.
The release of The Outer Worlds 2, a new project from Obsidian Entertainment, recently took place, and it was also released on the PlayStation 5 Pro console. Reports of technical issues soon began to surface.
The developers have prepared hotfix 1.0.4.1, designed to fix some of them, for example, events in several tasks are now played correctly, and critical errors (crashes) have also been fixed.
There is also a specific fix for The Outer Worlds 2 version on PS5 Pro — it was decided to replace PSSR, Sony's proprietary scaling technology; it caused graphical bugs:
PS5 Pro now uses TSR for upscaling to eliminate grass blur on Paradise Island and light noise in the game.
