The launch on Sony's console didn't go smoothly.
The release of The Outer Worlds 2, a new project from Obsidian Entertainment, recently took place, and it was also released on the PlayStation 5 Pro console. Soon, reports of technical issues began to surface.
The developers prepared hotfix 1.0.4.1, designed to address some of these issues. For example, events in several quests now play correctly, and critical errors (crashes) have also been fixed.
There is also a specific fix for the PS5 Pro version of The Outer Worlds 2 — the decision was made to replace PSSR, Sony's proprietary scaling technology, as it was causing graphical bugs:
The PS5 Pro now uses TSR for scaling to eliminate grass blur on Paradise Island and light noise in the game.
