The developers of \"Korea. IL-2 Series\" recently reminded about themselves again. 1C Game Studios decided to consider the game interface.

The vision of the game menu was influenced by the feedback from fans of the \"IL-2\" franchise, taking into account the requests of VR enthusiasts:

In the settings, we tried to take into account the wishes and comments that players expressed based on their experience playing \"Great Battles\". Thus, the graphics settings have a more logical grouping, icons and tooltips have been added to help optimally configure the game. Options such as choosing a virtual reality API (Open VR or Open XR), the degree of image scaling using FSR technology, enabling the display of the pilot's body in first-person view, and a special VR-optimized graphics preset have appeared.

In addition, significant changes have been made to the control settings: \"a lot of effort was made to make this, perhaps the most complex dialog in the game interface, more understandable and readable. A combination of bookmarks and filters is used for more convenient sorting of commands.\"

When creating the map in \"Korea. IL-2 Series,\" the artists followed a unified style: \"the map looks like an authentic document of the atomic age, in addition, a lot of information has been added to it: heights, a more detailed layout of settlements, industrial zones, a more detailed map of vegetation.\"

A highly detailed navigation map has always been a central element of the interface in all the games our team has created: Rise of Flight, \"Great Battles,\" and now — \"Korea.\" The use of the new interface API has made it possible to extremely effectively optimize its rendering from a performance point of view. Complex structures of many dynamic elements on the map, which, as it turned out during the development of the \"Marshal\" mode in \"Great Battles,\" turned out to be impossible there with acceptable performance on the API Scale Form, work quite successfully and quickly on the new API Noesis. Of course, it didn’t work so quickly right out of the box — we did a lot of work on writing the application part of this functionality, but the result was very good.
