An enthusiast decided to make the voice acting in Bethesda's game more diverse.
Recently, a new voiceover was released for The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. The author of the project decided not to use AI tools for its creation, but turned to professional actors.
spdude explained that although the original voice acting is good, he wanted to expand the variety of voices that can be heard in TES V Skyrim:
The original version of Skyrim has good voice acting, but Bethesda used only a relatively small pool of actors to voice over 1000 characters. Walking around any city, you can often hear the same voices of different characters. Skyrim Revoiced aims to change this. Thanks to the painstaking work of a talented team of voice actors, the mod introduces 8 new voice types for 48 NPCs throughout Skyrim, covering over 5000 lines of both original and modified dialogue.
