Former Square Enix executive Jacob Navok claims that most players don't pay attention to the use of generative AI in games. He cited examples of Steal a Brainrot and Arc Raiders projects and noted that he personally knows studios that are already using AI at the concept stage.

Although the adoption of AI is slow, its use is controversial. The media criticizes the technology for threatening the jobs of artists and developers, as well as for plagiarism. According to Navok, real players are hardly worried about this. Today, AI is used not only to create art and voice acting, but also to develop concepts and code.

Gen Z loves artificial intelligence and doesn't care. Activision is not abandoning AI, nor is ARC Raiders. The turning point has come.

He also mentioned Steal a Brainrot in Roblox, the largest game of 2025 with an audience 80 times larger than ARC Raiders. The game is based on AI-generated characters and remains popular among Generation Z. The ex-manager predicts that it will soon be difficult to find an indie project without the use of AI tools, such as Claude for code development.
