Despite assurances from DICE management, cosmetic items created using generative artificial intelligence have already appeared in Battlefield 6.
In October, DICE Vice President and General Manager Rebecka Coutaz stated that players "will not see anything created by generative AI" inside the game itself. According to her, AI was only used in the preparatory stages of development to "give more time and space for creativity," but at the moment there is no way to integrate it into the daily work of developers.
However, the community has already discovered traces of AI in the final content. In particular, a sticker for a player card called "Winter Warning" contains obvious errors: the M4A1 model depicts two barrels at once. In addition, other cosmetic items and descriptions have been noticed in the game, which, according to players, were generated by neural networks.
