Sometimes the technical state of a game can surprise even its creator.
In late December, the creator of the survival game Misery introduced another update. A new anomaly appeared in the game, and various bugs were also fixed.
One of the bugs greatly surprised the developer (as did the resourcefulness of the players):
Now you can't destroy bunker or store doors with mines. (How did you even come up with this exploit???)
Some improvements and new features:
- Reworked multiplayer code, map desynchronization should no longer occur.
- Glow counter fixed, no more counter resets.
- You can now open the menu after death. This will allow you to kick/ban unwanted players and prevent camping at the respawn.
- You can change FOV directly in the main menu.
- You can now cancel furniture placement and construction with the right mouse button.
- The Kick Player item has been replaced with Ban Player. Banned players die instantly and can no longer return to the player's world.
- Fixed a bug with radiation — players no longer receive lethal doses of radiation out of nowhere, just by resting in a bunker.
- Fixed a bug with stacking artifact effects when picking them up from a corpse.
