The first The Witcher featured erotic cards depicting women. Attentive fans of "The Witcher" immediately noticed that the images on the cards did not quite match those in the game itself.
In fact, CD Projekt RED didn't plan to do that. Writer Artur Ganszyniec recently revealed a nuance of the game's production — it turned out that one of the developers was colorblind.
Arthur explained that the developer in charge of color was simply too shy to tell the others about his peculiarity:
Later we learned that the person who was responsible for the color matching was completely colorblind. However, he was embarrassed to talk about it. So how do you approach solving the problem in this case? Well, you can just copy the RGB values or casually ask your fellow designers: "Do you think this hair color is more chestnut or...?"
The writer did not explain why the design of the erotic cards was not checked before the release of "The Witcher."
