The visual style of the intro is so close to the Agent 007 films that it feels like the opening credits to a new movie.
IO Interactive, the creators of the Hitman series, have officially revealed the details of the opening credits for their upcoming spy action game 007 First Light.
The main theme of the project is performed by Lana Del Rey, and the composer is Bondiana veteran David Arnold, who worked on the soundtracks for the films Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.
The cinematic credits, which have become the hallmark of the franchise, were presented on April 17. They are made in predominantly gold and black tones, and the frames feature naked girls, diamonds and abstractions — well-established images from films about Agent 007.
Attracting artists of Lana Del Rey's level is a costly move aimed at expanding the audience. According to IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak, the collaboration should "open up the world of Bond to a whole new audience." For the singer herself, this is a symbolic return to the franchise: in 2015, her track "24" was vying for the status of the main theme for the film "Spectre", but eventually lost to Sam Smith's song.
007 First Light will be released in late May 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. James Bond will visit Nintendo Switch 2 in the summer — so far without a clear release date.
