"Bombora" to Release Book on God of War Series - The Journey from Athens in Flames to Ragnarök
In the future, thanks to a new book from Bombora publishing house, readers will have the chance to understand how God of War transformed the slasher genre, how Kratos changed over two decades, and why Santa Monica became one of PlayStation's leading studios.
Over 21 years, the God of War series has come a long way – from a revenge slasher to one of the greatest gaming sagas of the 21st century.
To celebrate the franchise's venerable age, Bombora publishing house decided to prepare a book about how God of War changed the genre, reinvented itself, and why Kratos has long become something more than just a symbol of rage.
The publication is being worked on by Artyom Dubrovsky – a regular author for "Mir Fantastiki" and "Igromania", as well as a senior narrative designer.
With the help of the book, readers will learn why Santa Monica became one of PlayStation's leading studios, how Kratos changed over two decades, whose game design approach proved most successful for God of War, and whether gamers need new installments in the series.
Bombora is not yet ready to announce when pre-orders for the book will open or at what price it will be available.
