Hunters of "AI slop" are closely examining available footage of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis.

Recently, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis came under the scrutiny of those fighting against artificial intelligence in video games. Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog studios faced criticism after some players noticed confirmation of AI use for work on the Steam page.

Users are now examining promotional materials for "AI slop." Particular attention is drawn to the poster – there is an opinion that it was created by artificial intelligence. Lara Croft's pistol and the upper parts of the backpack straps look a bit strange.

Dandeli0ness showed for comparison what normal straps should look like.

The developers in the description of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis specified that "All AI-generated assets have either been replaced or refined by humans to maintain the creative and artistic vision of the development team." However, the experience of the creators of Crimson Desert showed that sometimes AI content can accidentally make it into the release version (Pearl Abyss studio removed them after complaints appeared).

You can add Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis to your wishlist on Steam via this link. The release is scheduled for February 12, 2027.
