Escape from Tarkov creators revealed new currency TarCoin and allowed selling it on the Flea Market
Some players have already managed to find coins in raids.
This year in April, Escape from Tarkov players began finding a mysterious currency during raids. This coin is called TarCoin.
In June, Battlestate Games studio addressed players and explained that this new type of in-game currency would only be used within the "Expansion Center." The developers stated that they increased the probability of the coin spawning in raids:
Opening any marked room will not only bring substantial profit to your PMC but also bring you a little closer to purchasing the desired expansion!
In addition, the creators of Escape from Tarkov announced that for a limited period, they added the ability to list TarCoin with the status "Found in raid" on the Flea Market (the local trading platform):
Exchange for valuable loot, earn in-game rubles, and help other players acquire the coveted currency!
The ability to trade coins on the Flea Market will cease at the moment the Expansion Center launches. The developers of Escape from Tarkov did not specify the release date of the update in this announcement.
