Ubisoft announced the final update for Assassin's Creed Shadows - fans are theorizing about the update

The company is preparing to say goodbye to AC Shadows before the release of the AC IV: Black Flag remake.

Ubisoft recently published a teaser for an update for Assassin's Creed Shadows on social media. Judging by the description, this will be the final update for the game.

In the 7-second teaser, the developers indicated version 1.1.11 and captioned the post: "One. Last. Update." The creators of AC Shadows have not yet revealed the details of the upcoming update, but players have a theory.

Next month, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced — a remake of Black Flag — is set to be released. There is a belief that Shadows might feature an additional quest that will include thematic "pirate" content or be somehow related to the main character Edward Kenway.

Over the past few months, a series of updates have been released for Assassin's Creed Shadows, adding highly requested features to the game, such as improvements to the parkour mechanics. The developers also collaborated with "Attack on Titan" — players could participate in an event and receive thematic items in the style of the franchise for their collection.
