New collectible figures have appeared in McFarlane's assortment.

New indirect signs have emerged online that Microsoft and Bethesda may be preparing to bring the cult classic Fallout: New Vegas back to modern platforms. Although the company did not share news about the future of the main Fallout series at the recent Xbox Games Showcase, except for updates for Fallout 76, rumors of remasters of classic games continue to gain momentum.

The reason for new discussions was the discovery of themed Fallout: New Vegas figures that appeared in the assortment of the Chinese store of McFarlane Toys.

Two new collectible figures were spotted in the store's catalog:

  • New California Ranger in 1:10 scale
  • Scorched New California Sierra Member in 1:10 scale

At first glance, the release of new figures may seem like ordinary merchandising, but fans of the series consider the situation more interesting. Fallout: New Vegas was released in 2010 and has not received updated versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X|S over the years. According to the community, the release of a new line of collectible figures for such an old game seems unusual without preparing a larger brand return.

Additional interest is sparked by the fact that this same store was previously involved in a leak related to the alleged Fallout 3 remaster, which was reported back in March. Now, the appearance of New Vegas merchandise may indicate similar plans for the famous RPG from Obsidian Entertainment.

Experts also note that the production of licensed products usually requires lengthy preparation. Manufacturers gain access to concept art, game materials, and other confidential data long before the start of a marketing campaign. Therefore, such listings rarely appear by chance and often accompany upcoming announcements.
