Players are trying to strike a blow against the gambling business.

Bots have become actively launched in Blizzard's MMORPGs, advertising gambling services through in-game chats and private messages. The situation with casino advertising reached the point where such bots began to "compete with each other."

Members of the World of Warcraft Classic community recently decided to strike a blow against casino advertisements. Proactive players began actively filing complaints against distributors of information about forbidden entertainment. In this way, players hoped to draw Blizzard's attention to the problem so that developers would release a systemic solution to combat casino advertising.

Tom Ellis, a producer, eventually noticed what was happening in the World of Warcraft Classic community. He confirmed that Blizzard is aware of the problem and urged players to continue sending complaints about bots advertising casinos:

Regarding this whole casino topic that's currently in vogue. I want to confirm that we are aware of the problem: casino advertising still violates the rules, so keep reporting them (or unleash infernals on them). Digging deeper, it seems that the RMT community (gold sellers) has realized that this is an easy way to quickly and cheaply earn gold, which has led to an increase in such behavior. You've drawn attention, so we have a few people here who are thinking about how to get these people out of the game faster, so that this activity becomes less profitable and, eventually, they just disappear. Don't expect some loud announcement like "Mission accomplished!". This is exactly the case where, if we do everything right, you'll just stop noticing how it all stopped.

He did not specify a timeline for the release of an update for World of Warcraft Classic. Meanwhile, players continue to hunt for casino advertisements.
