Modder adds Ciri's medallion from The Witcher 4 to The Witcher 3

Fans are gradually "transferring" content from the new installment of the franchise to the old one.

In The Witcher 4, Ciri will be the main character. CD Projekt RED allowed players to see the girl's model and her equipment in the trailer. Some modders were inspired by what they saw.

Recently, an enthusiast under the nickname merigoldmaribor presented a modification for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that adds content from The Witcher 4 to the game.

Ciri's new medallion replaces the accessory the heroine wears on her belt in the original. Visually, the resemblance is good, but there's a small nuance — in The Witcher 4 trailer, the girl wore it around her neck, not on her belt.

The "Witcher 4 Pendant" modification by merigoldmaribor is distributed for free via Nexus Mods.

Currently, CD Projekt RED is not only developing The Witcher 4 but also, in collaboration with Fool's Theory studio, preparing an expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, titled Songs of the Past. The release is scheduled for 2027.

There are also rumors about the development of a new game in The Witcher franchise. Allegedly, it will support co-op, and players will be able to create their own witchers — including female ones.
