Tom Holland names candidate for new Spider-Man in movies
The actor playing Spider-Man spoke about rumors of his involvement in a James Bond film and more.
Recently, Tom Holland spoke with Esquire UK. During the interview, the actor shared his opinion on a potential candidate for the role of the new Spider-Man in movies.
According to the actor, Owen Cooper, star of the series “Teenage Kicks,” would be suitable for the role. Holland noted his talent and expressed the opinion that such a role would be an excellent springboard for him:
Owen Cooper would be great. Obviously, he's very talented and he's on everyone's lips right now.
Also during the conversation, rumors were touched upon that Holland might become the new James Bond.
The actor admitted that he would be interested in working on the role of Agent 007 — he is a big fan of the franchise:
Of course, I'm a young Brit, and, you know, I've always been a big fan of spy movies. I grew up on Bond films and I remember going to see “Casino Royale” for my birthday […] I think if I were lucky enough to get such a role, who am I to turn up my nose at the most iconic British character in modern cinema?
Earlier, the synopsis of the upcoming film “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” was published online, revealing some details of the story.
