Corsairs: City of Lost Ships Remaster Gets Engine and Optimization Improvements - Caribbean Legend: Age of Pirates Update Released
The developers have optimized some game systems to increase FPS.
In June, ReCon Team studio released a major update for the pirate RPG Caribbean Legend: Age of Pirates, which aims to fix some bugs and improve the technical state of the project.
For example, they reported an increase in FPS in cities: "Deep optimization of character artificial intelligence has been carried out. This significantly boosts performance in locations with a large concentration of NPCs, such as large cities."
"Micro-optimization of the engine" was performed – some internal processes were optimized, and the loading of map textures from the cartographic atlas was also optimized and broken into parts.
Some other changes and improvements:
- Fixed errors in texts in all languages. Missing dialogue lines have been added, incorrect translations, place markers, and character names have been corrected.
- A hole in the 3D model of Guadeloupe island has been patched.
- Eliminated a visual artifact on the floor in one of the tavern models.
- The "Flying Dutchman" model has been corrected. Algae and moss on the hull are now correctly displayed on both sides.
