Pirated version of MARVEL Tōkon performs better than licensed due to DRM

One of the problems with the PC version of MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls was its DRM system. 11 days after its release, the game's protection was cracked, and the pirated version significantly reduces CPU load.

In the licensed version, some data is encrypted, so the processor is constantly decrypting it. This increases CPU load and leads to frame rate drops and micro-stutters, which players complain about on Steam.

In the cracked version, the CPU load is reduced by approximately half.

Users on X report a noticeable performance increase. MattWillaimson wrote:

It literally runs 10 times better now. Only 45% of my CPU is being used now.

Another user noted:

The unofficial version of the game now runs perfectly at 60 FPS on my PC. Thank you, Sony. (...) In the store version, I was stuck at 45 FPS with GBA-like resolution.
