GTA VI Leaks Turned Out to Be True - There's a "Mole" at Rockstar Games

GTA VI leaks have been confirmed: some of the information that appeared on forums last year indeed came from Rockstar Games employees.

The community tracking game leaks has correlated old posts with recent facts. Particular attention was drawn to a publication by user GameRoll, who in mid-2025 referred to knowing one of the developers.

At the time, his information was considered fan fantasies, dreaming of a combination of Red Dead Redemption 2 mechanics with a modern Vice City. Now it turns out that the list almost entirely contained real details of an early version of the game.

The return of the six-star wanted level, the division of the plot into chapters, and the ability to interact with pedestrians – for example, to greet or provoke them – have been confirmed.

Mentions of character weight changes, a brutal body damage system, Jason's ability to slow down time, and a limited inventory also returned. Even interface details matched, including a rectangular mini-map with pink navigation dots.

It seems that not everyone at Rockstar Games can keep their mouths shut.
