In January-February 2026, thanks to the board game "Jisogi: Anime Studio," Russian-speaking gamers will be able to lead small Japanese animation studios, acquire valuable employees, and create anime with different storylines.
Choo Choo Games Publishing announced that pre-orders have opened for the board game "Jisogi: Anime Studio," designed for 1-4 players. People wishing to acquire it will have to pay 3690 rubles.
According to the team, this project is intended for otaku who understand trends and know the difference between a ranobe and a manga, experienced players who love high competition and exciting Euro-tabletop games, and those who want to feel like a producer.
Thanks to "Jisogi," gamers will be able to lead small Japanese animation studios that are mired in debt. The goal of the game: to squeeze a cool anime out of a burned-out team, an empty budget, and endless deadlines, capable of blowing up the charts, and avoid bankruptcy.
Participants will need to hire and upgrade employees, write scripts, release all kinds of anime, sell thematic merchandise and manage finances, create hype around the studio's work, receive hype tokens, follow trends, earn popularity points and accumulate reputation.
The game offers two modes: competitive - producers compete in gaining reputation points, single-player - challenges against a bot studio with specific goals and a set number of rounds.
"Jisogi: Anime Studio" will appear in the warehouse in January-February 2026. In addition, it is worth noting that this board game has already been almost completely sold out (only 20 copies left).
